SONKO now does the unthinkable for JAGUAR. See what he did
Popular Kenyan singer, Jaguar has been fronted by Nairobi’s Senator, Mike Sonko, as the best candidate for the Starehe constituency parliamentary seat come 2017 general elections.
Speaking recently at a party organised by members of the Kalenjin community to thank him for his “heroic” role in getting baby Scandy Chelangat medical help, Sonko revealed that it was high time young people took leadership positions.
According to the flamboyant politician, Jaguar is capable of trouncing Starehe’s current MP, Maina Kamanda in 2017.
“Their politics are overtaken by events. The youth are going to take leadership and I know Jaguar will completely crush Kamanda in Starehe in 2017. Kamanda is just a walking ‘corpse’,” Sonko said.
Jaguar has however remained mum on the issue.
On their part, members of the Kalenjin community, who had graced the thanksgiving event, praised Sonko for his selfless deed after his rescue team airlifted baby Chelangat, who had a tumour in the head, for surgery in India.
