Elderly man dies after being knocked down by a speeding bodaboda (PHOTO)

A bodaboda rider reportedly killed an elderly man as he was crossing a road in Baringo on Sunday July 19, 2015. 

The bodaboda man was allegedly riding a heavily loaded bike at high speeding in Kipsaraman, Baringo North Sub County, when he ran into the man believed to be in his 80s as he was crossing the road.

A report by Baringo County News indicated that the old man died on the spot, while the bodaboda rider sustained serious injuries in the head at the afternoon accident, and was taken to Kabarnet Hospital.
