Students go on rampage over unqualified motivational speakers

Kibuline Secondary school students went on rampage on Thursday demanding removal of the school principal over claims that the school invites unqualified motivational speakers. The students closed the road outside the school premises saying that the school invites unqualified speakers who scored D minuses in their high school examinations.  The irritated students complained that the speakers are paid from their school fees money and also the school charges them first aid and hospital bills.
Other complains were that the school’s printer had broken down therefore forcing delay of the end of term examinations.  Police from Nchiru Police station had a hard time trying to quell the situation and make the students go back to school.
The deputy county commissioner for Tigania West, Stephen Kavuru, intervened and ordered the school closed till September as the administration sorts out the students’ grievances.
