Thika superhighway was the biggest project experienced during former president Mwai Kibaki regime. Currently the road connecting Thika and Nairobi was a dream to many Kenyans few years ago and now its a dream come true as this is the first 8 lane highway in Kenya.
The construction of the road costed roughly $360Million with the African Development Bank contributing the Largest share of $180Million.
