Kasarani Woman Arrested For Beating Househelp To A Pulp
A woman who resides in Kasarani, Nairobi was arrested and arraigned in court after she allegedly beat up and injured her house help on Tuesday night October 13, 2015 Clay City area.
According to Kasarani OCPD Robinson Mboloi, the 20 year-old house help Esther Ngaliman was rescued by neighbours, who called the area chief to the scene of drama.
The OCPD said that Esther was found to have head and chest injuries, and was taken to Kikuyu Mission Hospital for treatment, while her employer Karen Munini was arrested and taken to Kasarani police station by the chief.
Munini, a housewife, was then charged in court for assault, but pleaded not guilty.
Another hearing is set to take place to determine whether the mother of two will be set free.
