HOW MUCH CAN YOU PART WITH IN THE NAME OF DOWRY??

This is a basic requirement in most of the communities in Kenya. But the question is how much and what should you offer for dowry

When it comes to Kikuyu women, a man has to part with more than 70 goats and the crazy thing is the girl’s family is the one to decide the worth of each goat that you have to bring

What if they tell you to bring 80 goats @Ksh18000 each? That is a clean Ksh1.4Million and yet you have not even planned for a wedding.
Before paying this as the man what criteria will you be using to determine if the woman your paying for all this qualifies for it?  Could it be her Education? Color, behavior, appearance, or figure?   If you are ready and willing to offer this and go with the lady so what will be the terms and conditions when she enters your house as a wife? Or are you the kind of person who will be over ruled after going all this?
My rules can be:
1) I should always decide on how you should spend your salary
2) You should respond immediately I call you even if I have just coughed. You should say YES!!!!!!!!!
3) I should be the one to choose who should be your friends and when to see them.
4) I should approve any phone call that you need to make and also each call that you should receive in my presence and in my house.
5) I should beat you up if you go against my principles.
