THE BEAUTIFUL SOUTHERN BYPASS PROJECT NEARING COMPLETION VIEW PICTURES
The 17billion southern by pass project is nearing
completion. The 28.6 kilometer road runs from Mombasa road, passing through langata
and it ends at kikuyu town.
Its main initiative is to decongest the city by providing an
alternative route for the heavy load trucks transporting goods to and from Mombasa.
This was a good initiative that will bring positive change to the city and also
in the towns that the road is passing through. And more to this it will enhance growth of towns in the outskirts of Nairobi. This was a good initiative for the government to improve the infrastructure of the country and also to ease cars in the city. Not only has eased traffic in the city but also it has reduced pollution since these some of these trucks emit bad fumes as the move and in when in the city where there are millions of people they pose a health hazard.
