KENYA'S OLDEST INMATE FINALLY RELEASED.

Kenya’s oldest inmate is finally released. Mrs Margaret Gakoromo who is 100 years of age had been locked up at the Embu GK prison due to contempt of court. She was unable to raise KSH 100,000 cash bail

She was found guilty of ignoring a court order to allocate a two- acre parcel of land to Ms Justa Wawira who has been demanding for ownership of the family’s five acre land in Nthambo area in Embu county sonce 1997.

Sonko rescue team paid the cash bail and she was released at 6:43 PM and was received by the members of the rescue team.
