Anti-riot police dispersed University of Nairobi students yesterday after they were demonstrating at the kikuyu campus, demanding for more buses to transport them to their colleague’s burial. The students were not satisfied with the 67-seater bus owned by the university but instead they insisted for more in order for them to attend the Friday event in large numbers.

The late Francis Maina met his death after he jumped from 5^th floor after the transformer explosion went off. The total number of injured students was 167.
