Man looses wife to be after gambling ksh 50000 set aside for their wedding preparations

On Sunday a man in kahawa Wendani lost his bride to be after he gambled with Ksh 50,000 which was part of the money set aside for their wedding preparations. A witness saw the woman at the bus terminals as she boarded a Nissan with her luggage and the husband to be was behind her begging for forgiveness and asking her to go back and have a talk.

Their wedding was to be on 23^rd may 2015. The woman was later interviewed by a blogger in “Nairobi news” and she said that it was not the first time that the man had done that. She said that his husband had wasted a lot of money through gambling and the previous month he had used the rent money to gamble and he lost. This made them to dig deep in their pockets to provide rent before the due date. She claimed that using money set aside for their wedding to gamble was a sign of carelessness.
The man had placed a bet on Manchester United to win on the famous sport bookie 'SPORT PESA.'
