US man shoots Kenyan wife dead and later shoots himself. View (story & photo)

Reports by police in Minnesota, United States say that a 39- year old Kenyan woman was shot dead by her husband who later turned the gun to himself over a suspected domestic row.

Esther Nyambura Muchina Dobie died of a gunshot wound on her head. This incident is believed to have occurred due to a miss understanding and led to Mr Dobie shooting her before committing suicide using the same gun.

Police have identified Rodney Terrell Dobie, 41, as the man who shot Ms Muchina before turning the gun to himself.

FAILED TO GO TO WORK

Their bodies were found lying lifeless in their house by the police as they were responding a welfare call from Muchina’s employer after she failed to report to work. Her employer said that her absence from work was very unusual.

According to a police report Ms Muchina was last seen leaving from work on March 28, 2015. When the police arrived in the couple’s home they found one of the garage doors open and the service door between the garage and the home unsecured. When they entered the house they found the couple’s bodies in the bedroom.

Sergeant Schiltz said that the two had lived in that home for about one year and three months.

The neighbors claimed that that they did not know the couple very well since they kept to themselves.
