Man Buried Alive in Sewer
The man who fell inside while wailing, died but his coworker was pulled out unconcious and rushed to Kakamega County General Hospital.
Speaking to KTN, a witness to the unforunate incident said he was called to save the lives of his collegues but was only able to rescue one.
“I was digging my section and my collegues were on the other side finishing yesterday's job then I heard people calling me…. I rushed there with a spade but found one person had already died,” he said.
The police are said to have reported to the scene one hour later and retrieved the body of the deceased. Residents were however angered by their response and complained that Kakamega authorities were not prompt enough to save the situation.
