PHOTOS – Pope-Mobile Spotted in Nairobi one Week Before His Arrival

Pope Francis is expected in the country exactly one week from now, and his ride has already arrived. Unlike the US President whose ‘Beast’ is heavily protected, Popemobile – as his car is commonly known, is a simple customized pickup truck with a glass shield for the wind. Pope John Paul II used a fully covered car, but the last two Popes have changed that and left themselves somewhat vulnerable.

The car was spotted along Mombasa Road heading to an unknown destination.
