UNBELIEVABLE!! Baby’s Inoperable Brain Tumour Shrinks After Pope Kisses Her On Head (PHOTOS)
A baby girl who
was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour when she was just one month
old is now believed to be on the mend after a kiss from the Pope.
Little
Gianna was spontaneously kissed by Pope Francis on the head during
his visit to Philadelphia on September 26 this year. Two months after
that her brain tumour has shrunk significantly! But how is it possible?
Her
parents Joey and Kristen Masciantonio believe that this kiss was a miracle
from God.
The girl’s mother, Kristen Masciantonio, said: “The doctors basically came in and said go home. You have days to
weeks, maybe months with your daughter. They said there would be no way
she would see her first birthday. But now she’s getting better and stronger.
She’s blowing kisses. She’s starting to point at things.”
A comparison of
Gianna’s scans from August and November shows that the girl’s
tumour reduced in size so much it’s hardly visible now.
The Masciantonios have credited this as blessing and divine
intervention.
Gianna
was named for St. Gianna, a modern-day saint who died in 1962. She was
canonized as a saint of the Roman Catholic Church in 2004.
Saint
Gianna’s daughter met little Gianna during the papal weekend in
Philadelphia. Was it coincidence or a sign? We don’t know.
The
girl’s father Joey added: “Last year
was about living in honor of her. Now we’re going to get to live with
her. I think this is all from God. I believe the Pope is a messenger
from God.”
