Police Recruits found with sex toys in Kiganjo
FIVE police
recruits training at Kiganjo are lucky to get away with just
a warning after they were found in possession of sex toys. The women
were using battery-powered vibrators to avoid pregnancy, sources told the Star
yesterday.
The
items were discovered during a routine inspection of their
rooms and bags. They were given a stern warning after their parents were
summoned.
A parent who
sought anonymity however told the Star on phone that the incident has not been
reported to Vigilance House.
“They were
to go home forever, but we were very lucky,” she said. Sources said the
ladies escaped suspension since one of them is related to a senior police
officer in Nairobi. At least 4,000 recruits are being trained in Kiganjo and
will graduate early next year.
