Police woman rewarded by Nakuru Governor for her brave action. See how she saved the day.
It was drama
in Nakuru after a drunk officer walked around threatening to shoot residents.
Mechanics around the area confronted the drunk officer and threatened to them
also.
It took the
courage of Chief inpector Penninah Kamicah to disarm the drunk officer before
he could do something nasty that could injure the residents around the
area.
Well Nakuru
Governor, Kinuthia Mbugua has decided to honor the brave police woman for her
action.
He meet her
in his office and this is what he had to say; Today morning i took some time
to acknowledge and appreciate one of our very own heroines here in Nakuru
County.
Chief Inspector Peninnah Kamicha, an officer who recently hit the headlines for disarming a drunk police officer in Nakuru.

She
disarmed the rouge police constable who had threatened to shoot mechanics and
passersby in on Oginga Odinga Street and Bondeni Slums early this week, a
moment that was captured by the media.
I highly commend her for her bravery and commitment in dealing with a situation that would have otherwise been tragic.
Thank you Chief Inspector Peninnah Kamicha
