6 annoying habits city girls should stop.

So much has been written about the annoying things women do in general but after observing the Nairobi woman I feel we need to address annoying habits that they need to stop. Forget the overly talked about smelly weaves and fake accents. With the rise of social media, other habits that need to be put to shame are cropping up.

These are the top 6 habits the Nairobi woman needs to stop

1. Showing the butt crack

Ladies, it is not like you are completely unaware that your butt crack will show when you alight from a matatu, bend, sit when you are wearing a short top and pants with no belt. This wardrobe malfunction is a no-no. Invest in a belt, a tank top to layer with your short t-shirt and even a perfectly fitting trouser. Whether your behind is robust or not, flashing butt crack is simply an eye sore.

2. Going to expensive restaurants just for the photos and good gossip and not spending a dime

Have you been to a newly opened restaurant or cafe and noticed a group of women chatting the day away and taking selfies while only one of them has ordered something on the menu?  And the one person who has ordered is only drinking house coffee worth Sh200. They clearly cannot afford it but because the restaurant or cafe is what everyone is talking about and they need to post photos on Instagram then they have to go. It’s sad and it needs to stop.

3. Tagging places they haven’t been to on Instagram

In an attempt to please their Instagram social circle some women will take photos and tag places they haven’t been to just for the likes. Spotted a girl recently who had tagged her photo dining at Kempinski yet she was somewhere in Hurlingham as witnessed by the comments that followed. She quickly deleted the post and she is not the only case. This is so shady!

4. Bringing all your friends to a date

Unless you have been asked to bring your girls along….it is absolutely rude to do so. If you really want your friends to accompany you then ask your date if it is okay for you to bring company. If he has budgeted for you and your group of friends then he will not hesitate to tell you so!

5. Wearing shoes you cannot walk in

It is ridiculous to wear heels if you know you will be walking all day and it beats logic if you cannot walk in them. The Nairobi streets do no even favor the shoes and you will often spot women duck walking after wearing heels they cannot walk in. If you need to wear heels invest in a comfortable pair and please always carry an extra pair of flats just in case your feet give way. It is also very unattractive to see a woman walking barefoot while carrying her heels.

6. Going to the club penniless

Ladies, are you really that desperate for a drink and a good night that you would do anything? There is nothing as unattractive as a woman who goes to a club and cannot even afford one drink. Then you end up flocking where men have several bottles on the table and doing absolutely anything to catch their attention.
