The rich & Famous: See what LUPITA’s dad & mum were doing in New York (photos)

Family and friends of Oscar Award -winning Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o flew to the USA to watch the Hollywood star make her debut on a new York stage as she starred in a new war drama dubbed “Eclipsed,”

Led by Lupita’s dad, Kisumu Senator, Anyang Nyong’o, the Kenyan actress' family including her mother Dorothy Nyong'o and brother  Peter Nyong'o made their way to the Broadway theatre to watch the “12 Years a Slave” star in her new role. 

'Eclipsed' is a play set in 2003 near the end of the civil war in Liberia. It is about a group of women who are captives of rebels fighting the government.  The Film is written by Playwright Danai Gurira — also the actress best known as Michonne on “The Walking Dead”.
