Money can change people: See WILLY PAUL did after this was announced
Controversial
Kenyan
gospel singer Willy Paul surprised many of his fans after he told off
his haters and sponsors moments after he received news that he would
take home the
second largest amount of money collected by the music governing body PRISK, as royalties.
Laying his sentiments on social media, the Kitanzi hit
maker, who has been involved in various controversies in the past, indicated that
he does not need the help of sponsors as the 2014 PRISK report shows that he can be successful on his own.
Willy Paul
went ahead to reveal what he intends to do with the huge chuck of money he will
receive.
"Even
with others trying to pull me down, sponsors lying and refusing to pick
my calls, the Lord still works in mysterious ways... Here is the PRISK
2014 top earners list as received few minutes ago.... I have emerged
number 2... As Wyre takes the number one spot.... Asante baba.... First
things first, fungu la kumi on Sunday... Baraka and thanks for the
support" Willy Paul posted on social media.
