POPE: I FEAR MOSQUITOES MORE THAN AL-SHABAAB MILITANTS

Pope Francis has for the first time commented on the terror threat facing Kenya and other African countries that he is set to visit during his maiden trip.
Aboard the papal flight, the pope told journalists that he does not fear insecurity and that he is only afraid of mosquitoes.
Capital FM journalist Michael Mumo, who is aboard the flight, said the Pope had come to greet journalists when he was asked whether he feared for his safety.
Pope Francis asked back on why he needed to fear for his safety. The journalist told him because there are people targeting Christians in Africa.
“There are good and bad people. To tell you the truth, the only thing I’m worried about are mosquitoes,” said Pope Francis.
Before he returned to his seat, Pope Francis joked, “I hope you carried your mosquito repellents!”
Pope Francis made the comments at around 10 a.m while flying over Egypt enroute to Nairobi, Kenya.
