CRAZY CANDIDATES BEHAVIOURS EXPERIENCED BEFORE THE RELEASE OF THE EXAMINATION RESULTS YESTERDAY

Waiting for examination results for a final examination is a hard task for the candidates involved and it calls for students to remain calm as they wait for the outcome of how they have fared in the examination. Funny thing is that after examination everyone is always in a happy mood since they are in a transition of progressing to the next level. Everyone behaves like he/she has passed the examination and it is even before they have cleared with the school they are schooling in. when they go home and just to enjoy the fun feeling like a free citizen they seem to forget that the day of reckoning will come (examination release date). Now mid of February when the results are almost being released there comes a wave of fever among the same students whom during the December holiday were In a happy mood like they have passed the examination.

   This time the candidates avoid conversations on phone with friends and also family members who are eager to know about the release of the results. Some feel like they can get the result by their own and go hiding for some time until they are ready to come and reveal their results.

   Now here comes the day when the education secretary starts announcing the results and the KNEC sms number is displayed on the screen and candidates are being advised to send their index details in order to receive their results via sms. Now this is where the drama begins. I have experienced seeing others taking their phone and sending the index details but when a message is received they do not even want to look at the phone they rush to the nearest person in the house and ask them to read the message for them even if the message is not from the examination council they will do that frequently and by the end of the day they will have revealed the type of messages they send to each other with their friends since before the examination results are sent they take quite a while before they atre sent and thee people are still showing out their messages to be read for.

Now here comes the result message from the examination council. This is when you try to look for a person and you see him or her after a week. You will think that the candidate went for vacation maybe after receiving good results but the person has always been in bed the whole week since the examination results were announced. And remember this was the same person during November you could look at the mood and even predict the results.
