Real men don’t demand dowry after divorce

Divorce has become a popular practice in the today’s generation. It is mostly happening with the young generation between 25-38yrs. The reasons for this are mainly due to disagreements and unfaithfulness. Another conflict that arises after divorce is who owes the other and what will the other go with.

The Kenyan law states that when a married couple files for a divorce they are entitled to share equally the property they own. But this has not been the case when it comes to real life. Men are going ahead to ask for the bride price that they paid to the girl’s parents.
