CRAZY! Matatu passengers in umoja estate caught up in a robbery shoot out.

Passengers in a matatu were caught up in a police and robber drama as police chased a gang that attempted to rob a shop in the estate. It all started when a gang of four young guys attempted to rob a shop in umoja estate but the shopkeeper managed to inform the police immediately and the police responded in time and arrived at the scene within 3 minutes. It is said that the gang boarded a matatu and alighted just after a short distance and run away by foot. The police caught up with the matatu after the gang had alighted and they followed it shooting up in the air demanding the driver to stop. When the matatu stopped all the passengers were forced to lie down and the shop keeper was called upon to identify the robbers but it was in vain since they had alighted on the way before the police had caught up with the matatu. The passengers were then released to proceed with their journey.
