67 year old granny detained for attacking 10 year old with a machete.

A 67 old woman is alleged to have returned home on Thursday evening and grabbed a panga and attacked her 10 year old grandchild. According to reports the woman was drunk when she found her daughter in the garden weeding before attacking her and injuring her on the heel.

The girl is a 10 year old in class three at Ketindui Primary school. A children’s officer in baringo county, Irene Chepkwony said she will ensure that the girl’s rights are not violated since the parents of the girls settled the matter by their own while the girl was still receiving treatment in hospital.
