PHOTOS, 100kg Woman Shocks Everyone With Incredible Pole Dancing Skills
A pole dancer branded too fat for the fitness industry has proved her professionalism with incredible flexibility and strength.
Roslyn ‘Roz the Diva’ Mays has become a professional dancing and fitness instructor despite her impressive weight.
The 103kg woman runs America’s first pole dancing contest “Dangerous Curves” for plus size dancers and is determined to change people’s attitude to fat people worldwide. She said: “I’m sure everybody is probably sick of hearing, including me, of how America is going to die tomorrow because we’re all obese.
Nobody does anything about it, and people who are carrying extra weight are lazy, they’re fat, they don’t care. None of that is true and I’m so tired of hearing about it.
I was very fortunate to earn a spot on America’s Got Talent season ten, and while I was on stage after I just performed my entire 90 second pole routine.
One of the first comments I heard from the judges, one of which was Howard Stern, told me that I was too fat to be in this industry. And that nobody should ever hire me because I am too big and what worth do I have?
And why would anybody want to work with me just based on my looks? Now mind you this is after I just hung upside down for 90 seconds straight.”
‘Roz the Diva’ is very proud of her appearance and wants others to find comfort in their own bodies and finally embrace themselves. Actually, she is not alone in her endeavours.
The fat acceptance movement is a social movement defending the rights of fat people. Its members argue that fat people are targets of hatred and discrimination and do everything possible to be treated equally both socially and legally.
