Woman stubs another to death for 'eyeing' her boyfriend

A woman from Kirinyaga is being held at Kerugoya Police Station after she stabbed another one to death on Tuesday September 15, 2015, accusing her of wanting her boyfriend.
The woman was out with her boyfriend in Ngomongo Village, Kirinyaga, when he reportedly bought the victim a beer, a deed that got the woman jealous, according to Joseph Ngare, a village elder.
She then furiously rushed to her house which wasn’t far from the spot, and came back holding a kitchen knife.
The woman stabbed the victim severally, killing her in the attack, according to a Citizen TV report.
Police who arrived at the scene soon after saved the accused from mob justice. Her boyfriend was towed away with her to the police cells, as investigations are carried out.
The victim’s body was taken to Embu mortuary.
