Three killed by floods in fresh floods in Nairobi

Three people were killed on Tuesday night as the capital experienced a a fresh round of heavy rains.

A woman and her son who were swept away by the floods in Kayole.

Reports also indicate that a boy died in Baba Dogo as a result of the heavy rains.

The Kenya Meterological Deparment on Tuesday issued a heavy rain and storm advisory. It warned of heavy rains in the next two days.

Areas to be affected include all counties around Mt Elgon, central and south Rift Valley and areas around Mt Kenya and the Aberdares range.
