"My wealth comes from God" Says Senator Sonko

Everyone is always eager to know the source of wealth of the Flamboyant Nairobi senator mike Sonko.  The senator is known for living large and can afford to cruise around with flashy guzzlers and spending millions helping anyone who needs his help.

   In an interview with NTV’s Larry Madowo, Senator sonko claimed that he has never been a drug dealer.

“My wealth comes from God. I have brains, I have hands. I used to deal in land deals since I was in school, ” said Senator Sonko.

“I’ve never dealt with drugs, I have never been convicted with any drug offence. It was just a propaganda when I won the Makadara seat…there was a dossier that was brought by Saitoti (former Internal Security Minister) which was later cleared.

“I’ve never dealth with drugs, I can’t differentiate between cocaine, sugar, heroine. I don’t deal with drugs and I’ll never deal with drugs. I am a God-fearing leader,” said the Senator.

He however refused to mention his worth.

“This wealth that comes from God, what is it worth? How much are you worth Senator?” he was asked.

To which he answered; “You can ask God that question.”
